Laurent Bakery is seeking a Manufacturing and Operation Manager (M/W) to join its executive leadership team and help deliver on its ambitious growth for the coming years. With a commitment to excellence in Viennese pastries, premium baked goods and patisserie products, Laurent Bakery is at the forefront of innovation, quality, and operational performance in the food industry with more than 300 collaborators in Australia, with 2 factories and 18 stores. 

As Manufacturing and Operation Manager, your will mainly be expected on managing the following main aspects : 

  • Drive operational performance (manufacturing, quality, logistics and maintenance)
  • Champion a culture of safety, efficiency, operational excellence, and continuous improvement
  • Align operational capabilities with key growth initiatives by leading investment planning for CAPEX to strengthen systems and processes, improving efficiency.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams across core operation functions

Perfil

With an engineering educational background (or equivalent), you have a proven track record in a senior operations leadership role, ideally in food industry, you have demonstrated success in driving operational improvements and business growth. 
You are known for your excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. 
Your managerial experience enables you to be comfortable with diverse teams and complex stakeholder environments.
